Meta Description: Complete paper jamming troubleshooting guide for Shunda paper cup machines, analyzing 6 common feeding and conveying faults with precise adjustment methods to stop paper jamming thoroughly.
Paper jamming is the most common mechanical failure in the operation of automatic paper cup machines, which seriously affects production efficiency and continuous operation. Paper jamming faults mainly occur in paper suction, conveying, limiting and positioning links. This document comprehensively analyzes all common paper jamming causes of Shunda paper cup forming machines, and provides one-to-one standardized calibration solutions to completely solve conveying jamming problems and improve production continuity.
5. Causes and Troubleshooting of Paper Jamming Faults
5.1 Unstable Paper Suction
The fault is related to the timing of the vacuum paper suction switch. Early switch-off leads to unstable paper adsorption and offset; late switch-off causes paper bouncing and dislocation due to air flow. Accurately calibrate the start-stop timing of the paper suction switch to ensure stable and accurate single paper suction.
5.2 Asynchronous Paper Feeding
Asynchronous action of the push hooks on both sides of the conveying mechanism will push the base paper obliquely and cause paper jamming. Calibrate the action timing of the bilateral push hooks to ensure synchronous contact and paper pushing, keeping the paper feeding horizontal and stable.
5.3 Uneven Force of Pressing Strip Mechanism
Inconsistent height of the bilateral pressing strips of the conveying mechanism results in unbalanced friction on both sides of the paper and feeding offset. Adjust the bilateral pressing strips to a uniform height to ensure even stress and consistent feeding speed on both sides of the paper.
5.4 Misalignment of Paper Baffle Mechanism
Front-back misalignment of the bilateral paper baffles causes asynchronous paper limiting and feeding offset leading to paper jamming. Adjust the baffle positions to realize synchronous limiting and accurate paper alignment on both sides, avoiding paper skew during conveying.
5.5 Abnormal Gap of Conveying Track
Excessive or zero gap between the paper and the conveying track will affect feeding stability. The standard gap between the upper paper edge and the track surface is 1mm to ensure smooth and stable paper feeding without jamming or scratching.
5.6 Abnormal Positioning of Hinge Locating Blocks
Improper clearance of the four paper locating blocks at the hinge (excessive tightness causing jamming or excessive looseness causing offset) will lead to faults. Commissioning standard: the locating blocks fit the paper moderately with proper tightness, realizing accurate positioning without hindering smooth paper feeding.
